About Bulldog Youth Baseball

Bulldog Youth Baseball was established in 2010 to create a positive environment in which kids will be taught the fundamentals of baseball while learning how to become exceptional people.

Mission Statement:  Bulldog Youth Baseball Association’s mission is to provide the youth of Plainview, Elgin, and Millville communities the opportunity to play baseball.  Through exemplary leadership; promote the qualities of integrity, discipline, and sportsmanship while teaching, developing, and improving the basic fundamentals of baseball in a fun, learning environment.

Winona County League (8U, 10U, 12U, 14U)

PEM kids will play in the Winona County Little League (8U, 10U, 12U & 14U).  This league has other area towns in it that we will travel to (and they will travel here).  Some of them may include: Dover-Eyota, St. Charles, Chatfield, Lewiston, Altura, Rollingstone, Minnesota City, Goodview, and Ridgeway.  This league sets the schedule and the nights that games are played.  Typically, practices/games are held on the following nights, but there may be slight changes depending on field availability.  Game times are typically around 6:30 pm.  We expect the first games to be the week of May 31st and the last games the end of July.

8U - Tuesdays (Games) & Thursdays (Practices)

10U - Mondays & Thursdays

12U - Wednesdays & Fridays

14U - Tuesdays & Fridays

Junior Legion (17U)

JUNIOR LEGION:

  • Current 9th -11th graders are eligible to participate (17U)
  • Games are at Eckstein (when we are at home), otherwise we play on the varsity field of the opposing team.
  • Game times are typically 6:00 pm
  • We are potentially going to hold practice once a week (say Wednesdays or Sundays) at a time to be determined.

NOTES TO PARENTS:

  • In the interest of financing, parents are being asked if they could provide their own white pants for this league (it could be the same ones that your son used for other leagues.)
  • Cost for this league is different from other BYB leagues, as of now, BYB will be charging $125.
